Design Brief

I designed the poster for the "National Forum for Theater Clubs" event, which featured participation from Monastir Science Palace. I used the rule of third for layout and composition, and applied the principle of contrast to the font color and size. Additionally, I illustrated the artwork in Adobe Illustrator, making it the main focal point. This design approach ensured the poster was both visually appealing and effectively communicated the event's details.

  • Visual Focus

The poster's main focal point is a woman's face illustration. Positioned horizontally to the right and vertically in the middle, this placement draws immediate attention. The main headline is aesthetically placed underneath the illustration on the bottom-right side, enhancing the poster's appeal. The bottom-left of the illustration serves as negative space, ensuring the viewer's focus remains undisturbed.

  • Layout

The subtexts are carefully balanced under the main illustration/headline. They are aligned to the right side, with one vertically placed on the middle left side of the poster, creating a visually harmonious composition. This thoughtful arrangement ensures that all elements are cohesive and visually engaging.

  • Typography

The typography is primarily sans-serif, with varied weights and three distinct colors. This contrast in text styles enhances the poster's attraction and clarity, ensuring key information stands out. The result is a minimalistic yet effective design, achieving both aesthetic appeal and clear communication.
